Job Description: 

We are seeking a young, dynamic, and proactive Junior Motor Underwriter to support our dedicated distribution channel by providing quick turnaround on quotes, ensuring accurate risk assessment, and maintaining high service standards. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to build a career in General Insurance, including fresh graduates who possess the right attitude and willingness to learn. 

What you will do

• Handle motor insurance quotation requests from the assigned channel within the defined Turnaround Time (TAT).
• Evaluate risks in line with the company’s underwriting guidelines and pricing structure.
• Ensure all referrals are addressed promptly and escalated to senior underwriters where necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation, data entry, and filing of underwriting decisions.Coordinate closely with the sales/channel team to ensure smooth communication and timely delivery of quotes.
• Support in policy issuance, endorsements, and related administrative tasks.
• Uphold compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and operational standards.
• Manage workload effectively in a high‑pressure environment without compromising accuracy or service quality. 

Required Skills to be successful 

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• General Insurance background is preferred; freshers with strong interest and aptitude will be considered.
• Basic awareness of motor insurance concepts.
• Strong analytical ability with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet strict deadlines.Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt quickly.
• Must be available to join immediately (within 15–20 days).
