Housekeeping Supervisor – The Cove Rotana Resort Rotana

Summary:
We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee a team of housekeeping staff and ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a keen eye for detail to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

Job Responsibility:
1. Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained according to established standards.
2. Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure they meet cleanliness requirements.
3. Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
4. Schedule housekeeping staff shifts and assign daily tasks.
5. Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.
6. Handle guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping services.
7. Maintain a safe working environment for the housekeeping staff.
8. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules and special projects.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
4. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures.
5. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
6. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in housekeeping is a plus.
