Overview Of The Role:
This role involves operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to support warehouse operations, focusing on the safe handling, organization, and dispatch of goods. Forklift Operators play a crucial role in ensuring efficient logistics and inventory management by moving pallets within designated areas, preparing shipments, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety. Success in this role requires a keen attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and adherence to health and safety procedures.

What You Will Do:

• Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, move, stack, and organize stock.
• Offload and load containers and delivery vehicles.
• Transport pallets between receiving, storage, buffer, and picking areas.
• Assist with palletizing and preparation of goods for outbound shipments.
• Support internal picking and replenishment activities.
• Check incoming stock for accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Assist with inventory counts, stock checks, and stock takes.
• Ensure goods are stored correctly and safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and receiving areas.
• Conduct daily forklift inspections and report mechanical issues.
• Comply with all health, safety, and company procedures at all times.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Strong safety awareness.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Reliable, disciplined, and physically fit.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• Valid forklift operator license.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 kg.
• Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of product handling and storage procedures.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or overtime if required.
