Overview Of The Role:
As a  Network Engineer, you will work within an engagement team and be responsible for identifying customer requirements, requirements management, implementation of the systems, testing, training, defining support procedures, and supporting post-sales activities. 

The job holder will collaborate & support the Sales, technical, and professional services teams in implementing Data Network & Security.

• Identifies and clarifies customers’ current and future business initiatives, needs, and technical requirements.
• Collects information from the customer about their existing IT and telecommunications infrastructure and conducts analyses
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise-level network hardware and applications.
• Planned, configured, and oversees the network infrastructure’s implementation with customers, principals, service providers, and business partners to ensure performance meets design parameters.
• Provide post-sales support to customers.
• Troubleshoot and provide the solution on time for the complex multi-vendor network.
• Provide support for project implementation & documentation.
• Conduct training for customers on system usage.
• Able to prioritize workload to maximize productivity and minimize customer downtime.

What You Will Do:

Financial:

• Take the lead on Network Services practice, support the sales team to implement comprehensive solutions, and provide support in post-sales activities related to Data networks, Wi-Fi, & Security services

Technical Positioning 

• Provide solution functional expertise to ensure proper implementation of a proposed design,
• Prepare High-Level & low-level design documents.
• Install, configure and Troubleshoot the Data networks, Wi-Fi Networks, and security devices.
• Generation Wi-Fi active Heatmaps for final handover
• Creating Schematics and topology maps for the final handover

Internal processes

• Follow the internal field service mechanism.
• Weekly report on all active projects
• Weekly information on all open & closed service tickets
• Follow the proper escalation matrix
• Conduct the lesson-learned session with the team

Role Based 

• Maintain the certification level from our principals and enhance technical knowledge in the latest technology trends and solutions

Required Skills To Be Successful:

Job-Specific Skills:

• Software-Defined Networks: Knowledge of solutions from Cisco is mandatory. Understanding of solutions from other manufacturers is recommended.
• Wired & Wireless and Cloud-based Networks solutions: Cisco, Aruba, Dell, Alcatel, Ruckus.
• Security Solutions: Should be well-versed with security solutions mapping all in PCI-DSS domains.
• Good knowledge of Voice & IP Telephony, Wireless, Security, SD-WAN, Virtualization & Network Management Software
• Must have complete network lifecycle experience, including requirements gathering, solution mapping, testing, documentation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Implementation of a multilayer security solution
• Implementation of tiered network architecture / Campus networks

What Qualifies You For The Role:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:  

• Bachelor / Engineering degree in IT/ CS / Electronics / Telecom or related disciplines.

Minimum Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Converged Enterprise Network Design, Implementation, and Support

 Certifications:

• Minimum CCNP certification , Collaboration, or Data Centers.
• Certified in Designing Solutions: CCDP or ACDX, or AQPS is added advantage.
