A detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Officer is required to manage purchasing activities, source suppliers, and ensure timely procurement of materials and services. The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining cost efficiency, coordinating with suppliers, and providing smooth operational support.
Key Responsibilities:
– Source and evaluate suppliers and vendors
– Prepare purchase orders and procurement documentation
– Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules
– Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing requirements
– Ensure timely delivery of materials and services
– Maintain supplier records and procurement reports
– Coordinate with internal departments regarding purchasing needs
Requirements:
-Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain preferred
– Strong negotiation and communication skills
– Good organizational and analytical abilities
– Proficiency in MS Office and procurement systems
– Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
– Freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply
