Line Manager: Accounts Payable CPM
Role Location: Taguig, Metro Manila
Accounts Payable Specialist
Join JTI GBS Manila and play a key role in delivering reliable Accounts Payable services that support our global markets. In this role, you will ensure timely and accurate invoice processing while maintaining strong compliance with company policies and financial controls. You will also contribute to process improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously enhance how we deliver finance services.
What You’ll Do:
- Process vendor invoices and payment requests in SAP accurately and within agreed service level targets
- Review and validate vendor documents to ensure compliance with legal, statutory, and internal requirements
- Handle invoice queries and coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently
- Support month-end closing activities by ensuring all AP transactions are validated and processed on time
- Perform vendor reconciliations and prepare reports and analyses when required
- Maintain proper document management including scanning, archiving, and handling supporting documents
- Ensure compliance with JTI policies, procedures, and J-SOX internal control requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and support finance transformation initiatives
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth AP operations and service excellence
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or accounts payable, preferably within a shared services environment
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, journal entries (debit/credit), and financial controls; IFRS knowledge is a plus
- Experience with SAP and proficiency in Excel are required
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills in English; additional language skills for markets within the GBS scope are an advantage
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn, improve processes, and support team objectives
