Corporate Functions Data Analyst

What this role is about?

The Data analyst role will work on Data & Analytics initiatives to leverage on analytics to make sense of data — uncovering patterns, generating insights, measuring success and impact of analytics projects in relation to business KPIs. The role requires a strong analytical and problem-solving background in Corporate Function domain (Human resource, sustainability, R&D) with a strong business acumen. You should be familiar with the insight generation process integrating and preparing large, varied datasets and analyzing the data in order to uncover insights and recommendations. You are required to work with other business stakeholders, other data analysts and data strategists to define and develop data opportunities. In addition to advanced analytic skills, this role is also proficient at architecting specialized models / computing environments, and communicating results in a narrated way.

Responsibilities:

• Work as a part of the Data and Analytics team to leverage on analytics to make sense of data uncovering patterns, generating insights, measuring success and impact of analytics projects in relation to business KPIs.
• Maximize the value of actual data sources available and identify new data sources that could potentially add value for a supply chain optimization and sustainability.
• Work with rest of the Data & Analytics team to support on the KPIs framework definition across the different digital touchpoints
• Work with data strategist to help on identifying the areas of knowledge/ analysis to focus on
•  Work on fit-gap analysis in data sources, model and platform
• Support Corporate function by providing learnings and insights and by knowledge sharing of how to best use the data assets
• Translate business needs into specifications for report/ dashboards that enables business needs and good user experience
• Closely collaborate with Data Strategists, Data Scientists and other Data Analysts to make sure the data collected is fully leveraged in each solution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Engineering or a related field.
• Must have business professional expertise (with relevant industry experience) in data analysis and insights generation in supply chain domain
• Able to collect and organize data from different sources in order to solve a business question
• Should be passionate about challenging and interrogating data and its interpretation
• Should be a creative thinker who can offer new perspective to analyze data and build storytelling.
• Fluent English
• Able to uncover insights and drive clear and practical business impact through storytelling.
• Must be able to present findings to both business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with key stakeholders across functions.
• Acts proactively to anticipate the future implications from actual decisions.
• Advanced knowledge working with SQL and basic for R or Phyton.
• Experience working with reporting tools such as Power BI/Tableau as well as Microsoft Office (Excel and Power Point).
• Experience working with web analytics (Google Analytics)
• Experience in working with major “big data” storage (i.e. Azure Data Lake)
