Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Commis II to join our team and assist in preparing delicious dishes in our kitchen.
Job Responsibility:
1. Assist in preparing ingredients and setting up workstations.
2. Follow recipes and cooking procedures to ensure food quality.
3. Cook and plate dishes according to instructions from the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
5. Help with inventory management and stock control.
6. Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Commis II or similar role.
2. Knowledge of various cooking techniques and recipes.
3. Ability to work well in a team environment.
4. Willingness to learn and take directions.
5. Physical endurance to stand for long periods and lift heavy pots or pans.
6. Certification from a culinary school or relevant training is a plus.
