Now there is a fantastic opportunity for two passionate Customer Development Managers to join our Norwegian Team and work with our strategic customers. Could this be you?
Job Purpose:
The Customer Development Manager works closely to build relationships with our customers to deliver on our targets such as net sales and margin by building and implementing mutually profitable business plans. They have a clear understanding of the retailer strategy, their shopper and how Colgate-Palmolive can optimize their brands and strategic intents.
Main Responsibilities:
To deliver quarterly and annual net sales/margin profit targets
To demonstrate commercial sharpness
Demonstrate a clear understanding of the retailer strategy, their shopper and how Colgate can optimize their brands and strategic intents within this environment.
Work closely with the Marketing team to understand category growth opportunities and how to optimize for both Colgate and our customer
Be responsible for collaborative planning with your customer, owning the input and delivery of an accurate Customer forecast volume/sales/investment
Work closely and creatively with marketing and brand managers to identify, develop and implement the appropriate business solutions required to drive the retailer business forward
To build strong internal and external networks and collaborate across functions to help deliver on key business priorities

What are your Key Challenges?
To be able to lead a demanding, constantly evolving customer with the appropriate level of creativity, whilst ensuring that the business decisions are mutually profitable and sustainable for both parties. It is critical to be able to prioritise and respond to a large number shifting requests in a timely manner, whilst keeping the broader CP business informed of the evolution of the retailer.
