Extra Function: IT Liaison (Internal) | DC Aviation Al Futtaim | Dubai UAE (AE) Full Time NEW

We are currently inviting expressions of interest for the role of IT Liaison, which will be assigned as an extra function alongside the employee’s current role. This role will serve as the central coordination point for all IT-related activities, working closely with DCA, DCAF, and EIT to ensure smooth IT operations across the organization.

Please note that this opportunity is open to DC Aviation Al Futtaim (DCAF) employees only.

Primary Duties: 

• Serve as the primary point of contact and coordinator between DCAF, DCA, and EIT on all IT-related matters.
• Provide input and recommendations on IT-related projects, systems, and operational improvements.
• Offer first-level guidance and support to employees on IT concerns, coordinating with AFIT and the IT Security team as required.
• Log, track, and communicate all technical issues reported by employees to the designated AFIT representative.
• Coordinate with the AFIT on-site representative (available every Thursday) to ensure timely resolution of outstanding IT issues.
• Oversee server maintenance activities and ensure all scheduled maintenance tasks are performed in a timely manner.
• Monitor IT-related activities to ensure compliance with company IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
• Maintain proper documentation and tracking of IT issues, requests, and maintenance activities.
• Act as a liaison for IT security-related matters and ensure adherence to IT security guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Interest or basic understanding of IT systems and processes
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up effectively
• Detail-oriented with good documentation and tracking skills
