Overview Of The Role:

As a Paint Technician, you are responsible for ensuring that paint repair jobs are executed correctly according to established procedures and specifications. Your success in this role is measured by your ability to deliver high quality, efficient work with no repeat jobs, while adhering to safety and housekeeping standards. You will collaborate with teammates, maintain discipline by following company protocols, and continually develop your skills to stay updated with industry advancements.

What You Will Do:

• Execute assigned jobs in line with established work procedures, specifications, and time standards, ensuring full compliance with company policies.
• Deliver high-quality workmanship to achieve customer satisfaction while minimizing repeat jobs and material loss.
• Adhere to the AL Futtaim Automotive Quality Management System and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards, maintaining a clean and organized workplace and safeguarding customer vehicles.
• Plan and manage multiple assignments effectively to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Demonstrate technical expertise in surface preparation, filler application, sanding, spraying, color matching, plastic parts treatment, and basic diagnosis and repair.
• Stay updated with new technologies and attend company training programs to maintain productivity and quality.
• Maintain discipline by complying with company rules, regulations, and SOPs, while supporting team objectives and additional tasks as assigned.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Proficiency in spray painting and color mixing techniques.
• Ability to execute detailed surface preparation work.
• Strong adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• SSC/Trade certificate or Vocational Training.
• 3 – 5 years of experience in a reputed automotive workshop.
• Ability to read, understand, and write English to follow Al Futtaim Body Shop Training, spray painting, and color mixing.
• Competence in following instructions and procedures and delivering results while meeting standard expectations.
