Job Purpose
To provide high‑quality, specialist‑level paediatric care in line with evidence‑based clinical standards, ensuring the physical, psychological, and social wellbeing of infants, children, and adolescents while delivering safe, ethical, and patient‑centred care.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive specialist paediatric care in accordance with best‑practice clinical guidelines and Al‑Futtaim Health Medical Staff Bylaws [
- Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic paediatric conditions[
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate evidence‑based treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and provide clear guidance to parents and caregivers on administration and follow‑up care
- Deliver holistic care and age‑appropriate health education to patients and families
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records
- Liaise effectively with families, nurses, primary care physicians, and other specialists to optimise patient outcomes
- Participate equitably in the on‑call roster, where applicable
- Contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental development activities
- Engage in continuing medical education and remain up to date with developments in paediatric practice
Candidate Profile
- DHA‑licensed or DHA‑eligible Specialist Paediatrician
- Strong clinical competence across general paediatrics
- Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Committed to ethical, high‑quality, and patient‑centred care
- Team‑oriented and comfortable working in a busy outpatient clinic setting
- Arabic language skills are an advantage
Qualifications & Experience
- MBBS / MBChB or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Completion of a specialty qualification recognised by DHA, HAAD, or MOH (UAE)
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience at specialist level post‑qualification
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); Arabic is an advantage
- Publications in peer‑reviewed journals are highly regarded
