Overview of the role : 

The Junior Electrical Engineer will support the senior engineering team in supervising electrical installation works on construction sites. The role involves assisting with site supervision, monitoring progress, coordinating with subcontractors and technicians, and ensuring that work is executed in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

What you will do : 

• Assist Senior Engineers in supervising day-to-day electrical works at site.
• Monitor work progress and ensure installations follow approved drawings and specifications.
• Support coordination with subcontractors, supervisors, and site teams.
• Assist in resolving basic site issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with company safety and quality standards.
• Participate in inspections, testing, and commissioning activities where applicable.
• Maintain site records including daily reports, inspection logs, and progress updates.
• Assist in monitoring material usage and ensure proper handling and storage at site.
• Comply with company safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
• Report any safety concerns, risks, or site issues to the supervisor.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within project teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.

Required skills to be successful : 

• Basic knowledge of MEP systems and construction practices.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

What equips you for the role : 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience in MEP construction projects (site exposure preferred).
• Basic proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
